By now, you know the story of the Mother Letter Project.  See the FAQs for more information. Don’t forget to tell us if you are writing or donating.

UPDATE

I thought you might like a brief update on the Mother’s Day Edition and how we are coming.  As always, help me get the word out.  You will see that we have a little work to do between now and May.

The Letters

So far, we have received 15 letters and commitments for another 22 (including some gents that haven’t yet put there names on any list).  That’s a grand total of 37 letters!  As you will remember, our goal is to receive 100 letters by May 1st.  That means we are over 1/3 of the way home.  To those of you who have committed, thank you so much.  Each of your letters represents a donation to help fight malaria, and I appreciate that more than you can ever know.

The Donations

To date, we have received 18 donation pledges.  That means we need to beat the bushes a bit to keep us on track here.  Remember, I am looking for 100 people to pledge $0.10 per letter.  What if we got more than 100 pledges?  I’m sure they wouldn’t be turned down.  If you would like to see where (and how) the donations will be gathered, click HERE.

Help me continue to spread the word!  Remember, this Mother’s Day, you can receive an incredible gift and help fight a disease that affects children across the globe.  Does anything say “Happy Mother’s Day” any better?

Mr. Haines, I would love to help so count me in for the donations. Will I know how and when you’ll collect that? Also, I’ll write a letter, I think, but don’t have a clue where to start. Hmmm. Who do I send it to if I muster it up?

P.S. Saw the boys today. Good grief, Ian is your mini-me just like Thomas is to Christian. They are precious and growing. Where are the bricks for their heads?

Dearest Milton,

You will know where and when to donate because I will tell you. The donations will be made directly to Compassion. I also think, my dearbMilton, that your mother’s heart will find it’s way to the page. I will be sharing an example tomorrow, so keep yourveyes peeled.

Also, it should be noted that the FAQs in the middle tab (just under the compassion picture) should help explain the project in greater detail.
